The luxury grocery store chain, Erewhon, is coming to Chicago, and students can now try their viral Hailey Bieber smoothie. The excitement among students started when Erewhon shared an Instagram post featuring several maps of major cities, including Chicago. 

“I am super excited that the store is branching out. I will definitely be trying the Hailey Bieber smoothie since I’ve seen a bunch of Tiktok reviews of people eating Erewhon’s food,” said Kate Eyen, senior. 

Though students raved about Erewhon coming to Chicago they aren’t physically opening a store yet. But they’ve started to ship products out like the strawberry glaze smoothie kit. 

“I wish that they would open a store instead of just shipping to Chicago. I know me and my friends would make a trip to travel downtown to try Erewhon’s food,” said Victoria Jovanovic, sophomore.   

Eerwhon’s goal is to enhance the health of people by providing organic, ethically-sourced foods that support the planet and are certified organic retailers. Some of Erewhon’s most popular products are their Hailey Bieber Strawberry Glaze Smoothie, Chicken Pot Pie and some of their Masa Tortilla Chips. 

“When I traveled to LA for a lacrosse tournament my teammates and I stopped at Erewhon and we were able to try their famous smoothies. I got the Goddess Smoothie; it was really good but not worth the $20,” said Willa Braden, senior. 

Erewhon aims to promote health with ethically sourced, organic foods, though some say the prices are high for what you get.
