Ms. Elizabeth Kujawa is the new manager of the cafeteria.
While Kujawa doesn’t plan on making any large changes right away, she hopes to work with the wellness committee and Hinsdale Central students to see what they want from the cafeteria.
“I am really excited to be part of this fun community,” Kujawa said.
“I’m definitely open to suggestion from students,” Kujawa said. “I want to know what they want to see more of, and what they are unhappy with.”
A big part of Kujawa’s job is multitasking. She does everything from making her own deposits and giving cashiers change to problem solving during the hectic lunch periods and trying to improve the cafeteria.
This year, Kujawa hopes to continue things like the Quest for Life line, which includes healthier option such as hummus and yogurt, along with occasional display cooking.
“This year I hope to add more display cooking to the Quest line,” Kujawa said.
Additionally, Kujawa plans on continuing to work with the Family and Consumer Science students to put on the Homecoming Bar-B-Que.
“I’m very fortunate to have an extremely capable staff,” Kujawa said.
