Be happy
On Jan. 26, Happy Club launched it’s newest project: the Happiness Project. This project was created to inspire students to be happy within themselves and make others happy in the process.
“[Happy Club] was created three or four years ago to think of random acts of kindness and things to do to boost morale or make someone else’s day,” said Ms. Patel, club sponsor.
The first installment invited students to compliment their peers on something other than body image. The project as a whole entails different ways to promote happiness throughout the school. The Happiness Project’s aim is to continue throughout the semester as a way to relieve the pressures of everyday life as a student at the school.
“We wanted something to consistently inspire happiness,” said Olivia Carter, club co-president. “So, we decided to do this project which occurs once a week.”
