Central students watch forensics performances on Valentine’s Day

On Feb. 14, Hinsdale Central students and staff watched the forensics and speech team perform their speaking events which include declamation, original oratory, impromptu speaking, humorous interpretation, and humorous duet acting among others in the auditorium during the school day.

Reagan Scott is a senior at Hinsdale Central who performed a declamation, an event where one acts out a speech someone already wrote and performed. Scott gave a TedTalk about soap operas and the lessons that we can take from them.
