Following a third place finish at the Midwest Regional, the Hinsdale Central Boy’s cross country team grabbed an at large bid to the Nike Cross Nationals event and is headed to Portland, Oregon on Saturday, Dec. 7.

This bid is on top of an already successful season. The Devils took home their first state title in school history. At the state tournament, seniors Billy Magnesen, Kevin Huang, and T.J Caveney all finished in the top 30.

Following that impressive performance, the team finished in third at the Midwest Regional, leaving them one spot shy of an automatic bid to nationals. Fortunately, it was announced Saturday they were selected for an at large appearance in Beaverton.
