Seniors commit during fall season
As kids, most of us had the dream of being a professional athlete, but few actually succeed. These student athletes have taken the next step in their athletic career: committing to play their sport in college.
Many of them have been in the process of committing for a while, or for Miranda Mocklow, about a year ago.
“I started e-mailing a ton of coaches after state; I got my first offer over Christmas Break and the one from Dayton in March,” said Miranda Mocklow, University of Dayton Golf commit.
Deciding which school is right for you, not only to continue your sports career, but for academics too, can be stressful. Finding the school that balances the two is important to many of these fall commits.
“I decided to go to Penn because it offered the combination of a competitive D1 golf team and great academics. I also loved the coach and the girls on the team,” said Selina Zeng, University of Pennsylvania Golf commit.
