On Wednesday, March 14 at 10 a.m., many students participated in the National School Walkout. During the walkout, organizers read the names of those killed in the Parkland shooting and released balloons in their memory. Then, students moved to the front of the school with chants and posters expressing their opinions toward gun violence. Parents and media correspondents watched on as the event occurred.
