Although the Red Devils football season is over, one current Central player and one alumnus continued to make some noise on the field over winter break.

Senior Brian Allen competed in the Army All American Bowl this past weekend in San Antonio, Texas where he represented the East team as an offensive lineman. However, Allen’s effort, which led to a touchdown for East running back Sony Michel, wasn’t enough as the West team defeated the East, 28-6.

Following in his brother’s footsteps, Allen is committed to play football at Michigan State University. The Spartans defeat Stanford 24-20 in the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day.

Leading the charge was Brian’s brother, Jack Allen. The Devils alumnus is currently the starting center for the Michigan State. The Spartans finished the season 13-1 and ranked third in the USA Today poll.

Next season, the two will combine in East Lansing for a MSU squad that is predicted to be at the top of the Big Ten.
