Students set New Year resolutions for a new decade
Setting a New Year’s resolution for the new year is a goal a student can place for themselves in order to achieve what they’ve always wanted to do but haven’t had the chance to focus on in the past. Starting off the new year with goals motivates a person to try to work hard so that it can pay off during that year. Goals can be long term, or short term, depending on how long it takes for them to achieve it.
For students that take Group Exercise, a physical education class, physical education teachers started off the new semester with long and short term goals that they hope students will achieve throughout this year. Students were asked to provide two long term goals and two short term ones, one of which was required to be health-related.
Of course, goal setting comes with a little bit of a struggle, especially because people tend to give up on their goals only a couple weeks into the first month.
