Towards the end of 6th period lunch, the students sitting in the senior portion of the cafeteria launched food at each other, instigating a food fight.
Shortly after, students were hiding underneath the tables or fleeing out into the courtyard.
“There were a bunch of seniors standing around, and it seemed like something was about to start happening, and it was a heated moment because everyone was looking at each other. Everyone knew something was about to happen but didn’t think it would,” said Sheerin Fathizadeh, senior.
“All of a sudden, everything starts flying. There were deans and hall monitors just grabbing people, and everyone was like I didn’t do anything,” Fathizadeh said.

The administration is currently investigating the situation.
