On Friday, Sept. 20, Future released “MIXTAPE PLUTO,” a solo album of his. The album included 18 songs with a duration of 45 minutes.
“MIXTAPE PLUTO” had no collaborations, making it his first solo project of the year. This year, Future dropped two studio albums with Metro Boomin. “We Don’t Trust You” was released on March 22, 2024 and “We Still Don’t Trust You” was released on April 12, 2024.
“I would put ‘MIXTAPE PLUTO’ just below ‘We Still Don’t Trust You,’” said Hudson Kurcz, sophomore. “My two favorite songs were ‘TEFLON DON’ and ‘TOO FAST.'”
Future released songs with a low bass-boosted rapping in a low-toned gruff voice. He talks about money,and becoming successful in his songs. Winning three Grammys and 10 nominations, Future continues to drop albums and makes people vibe to his music.
“I was very excited,” said Danna Fralich Vinces, freshman. “I had been waiting for a new album.”
Future has been producing songs since 2010 and has been famous ever since. He started collaborating with various artists like Kendrick Lamar, Metro Boomin, and Drake. Future is known for using his mumbling voice with trap music, creating songs many people enjoy.
As people listen to “MIXTAPE PLUTO,” you can hear trap music with bass while he continues to rap in his songs.
“The way he uses his beats and tracks is so good,” said Phoebe Teoli, senior. “Future has great rhythms in his songs.”
