This year Easter Sunday fell on Sunday, April 20th, and students had a variety of planned activities that took place on that Sunday.
Maya Reed, senior, said that she had many “fun plans” that were going to take place on easter.
“Every year my family goes over to my grandparents’ house and we have a really good brunch,” Reed said.
She mentioned the Easter goodies that come alongside the brunch.
“After we eat, my grandma gives our family each a basket of candies and we always go crazy and eat loads of it,” Reed said.
Junior Eva Minginas had a day full of plans, including family and church.
“Since we are Greek, we go all out on Easter. We head over to church for the 12:00 p.m. service. It is a very beautiful gathering and I get to see a bunch of my family there all at once,” Minginas said.
Minginas talked about continued plans after church that day.
“During the day of Easter we went over to my cousins house, and I love seeing them, but especially on events like Easter because everyone is excited and ready to eat,” Minginas said.
Finally Junior Joey Hagen talks about what he did over the weekend.
“This year’s Easter was really fun! We did a scavenger hunt with my family and got a bunch of candy and sweet treats,” Hagen said.
