      On Friday Aug. 25, the senior class wore togas at school and at the first football game of the season to show off their spirit for the team.

      On May 23-June 2nd, The Grant Street Gallery is showcasing the Art Departments Spring Show. 

Overall, choosing a favorite work is very difficult because all of the work is remarkable and exquisite in their own way, said Evan Haase, Art Educator. It is always a little frightening to display your work on a pedestal for the world to see, however, when students are given that opportunity, it is truly amazing to see their excitement and joy when various teachers and students compliment them on their craft and creativity.

      The AP Art Show is from April 24 to May 12 in the Grant Street Gallery and the C Gallery in room 216.

      Prom was this past Saturday on April 29 at Union Station in Chicago. Students arrived in style wearing dresses and tuxedos in preparation for a long night.

      • On Feb. 22, 2023, SZA’s SOS Tour came to visit the United Center in Chicago. The show consisted of many songs from her new album, SOS, while featuring some cult classics such as “The Weekend,” “Love Galore,” “Drew Barrymore,” and “Love Galore.”

      • At the front of the cafeteria the school is giving away free gutted pumpkins. They are encouraging students to take them home and carve them. This is yet another way the Halloween spirit is being spread around Hinsdale Central.
