Students row at Midwest Regionals

Peter Hughes (Junior), Ryan Halpin (Sophomore), Sam Meccia (Lyons Township Junior), and Sean Conway (Junior) rowed and qualified for the boys novice 4+ Grand Final, despite not receiving the opportunity to place in the final due to hazardous weather.

Many students row with the Chicago Rowing Foundation and competed at Midwest Regionals this past weekend.  Despite some controversial calls from event organizers and turbulent weather, the team performed well and is looking forward to Regionals next year, where they may qualify for nationals in California.
