People have been raving about Netflix’s new series, “Wednesday”

On Wednesday, Nov. 23, the first season of Miles Millar and Alfred Gough’s series “Wednesday” was released on Netflix.

On Wednesday, Nov. 23, Netflix premiered all eight episodes of “Wednesday,” Created by Miles Millar and Alfred Gough, the series stars Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams.

Based on the television series “The Addams Family” from 1964, the series puts a twist on the original as it follows Wednesday Addams’ years as a student, whilst she makes new discoveries with her emerging psychic abilities. 

Coming out only a week ago, the show is already flooded with positive reviews. 

“I would recommend it,” said Ella Backus, senior. “It’s a good show to watch when you don’t feel like watching a lot of seasons.”

The first season has eight episodes, each episode around 45 minutes long.

“I watched the series within two days, and all I wanted to do was sit and watch more,” said Julia Albert, sophomore. 

With only one season out to the public, viewers are now waiting in anticipation for a possible new season. 

“I would love to see more romance,” said Gianna Corgiatt, senior. “I’m hoping for a new season and I hope it comes soon.”
