Amazon 4-Star Store opens in Oakbrook
The new Amazon 4 Star store at the Oakbrook mall sells various types of items including electronics, books, household items, toys, games, and much more.
On Wednesday, Nov. 13, the new Amazon 4-Star store opened at the Oakbrook Center. The Amazon 4-Star store sells all Amazon items rated four stars and above, hence the name of the store. This makes it the ideal place to purchase quality Amazon items.
This is the first Amazon 4-Star store that has opened in Illinois, but they have other locations in New York, California, Colorado, and Connecticut. There are a total of seven Amazon 4-Star store locations across the United States, making the opening of the store in Oak Brook very prestigious for people in the Chicagoland area.
“I use Amazon to purchase just about anything I need, so I’m so glad that they opened this store since it’s so close to me,” said Audrey Giltner, junior.
You are guaranteed to find a top-rated product at this store, as all of the items are rated 4 stars or above on the Amazon website.
The store carries a variety of items such as electronics, toys, books, games, and much more. The in-store experience allows customers to purchase Amazon items without having to worry about the quality of the item. Despite this, no new or featured items not offered on the Amazon website will be available in the Amazon 4-Star stores.
“I think the opening of the store is unnecessary as everything in the store is already sold online and as ABC describes it they won’t be selling anything people haven’t seen before,” said Taylor Cavo, junior. “I don’t plan on going because I think ordering off of Amazon online is less time-consuming.”
On each item at the Amazon 4-Star store, there is a tag that displays how many reviews the item has and how well it is rated. This makes it easy for customers to see all of the vital information they need to know about the product.
The average rating of all of the products in the Amazon 4-Star store is 4.4 stars, and in addition to this, the products offered have earned more than 1.8 million 5-star customer reviews. To make it convenient for customers, you are able to return items purchased from the Amazon website at the Amazon 4-Star stores.
“I plan on checking out the new Amazon 4-Star store at the mall the next time I am walking around, I would love to see what it’s all about,” said Ms. Melissa Zinnecker, science teacher.
The Amazon 4-Star store located at the Oakbrook mall is open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
