On Sept. 16, KSI, Logan Paul, and MrBeast came out with a new meal called Lunchly, which is a Lunchables knock-off that has a MrBeast Feastables bar and Prime. Lunchly tries to market that they are more healthy than Lunchables.
I tried the turkey stack ’ems and the fiesta nachos to see if they are really better than its competitor Lunchables.
“I think Lunchly is a cash grab,” said Jack Carlin, senior. “It’s not healthier than Lunchables.”
Starting off with the fiesta nachos option, the actual nachos taste similar to the Lunchables one, but the cheese is more of a queso-type of cheese rather than a nacho-type of cheese. I prefer queso, so I’ll give a point to the Lunchly cheese. The salsa is a little sweeter than Lunchables, so it’s up to preference. You get a Feastables milk chocolate bar which tastes like a Hershey’s milk chocolate bar. And for your drink, you get a mini strawberry banana Prime. However, I don’t like Prime; it’s way too sweet, so I’ll give a point to the Lunchables drink (that is usually a Capri Sun or Kool-aid).
“It looks like the same thing as Lunchables,” said Brody Petersen, senior.
I also tried the turkey stack ’ems. The cracker tastes like a Ritz-type of cracker which is similar to Lunchables. For the actual turkey and cheese, it tastes the same as Lunchables except the cheese is slightly better. You get a Feastables crunch bar which my brother ate, and he said it was good. You also get an Ice Pop Prime which my brother said was too sweet and that he didn’t like it.
“I actually like Lunchly better than Lunchables,” said Chichi Oranu, senior. “I enjoy the candy more.”
Lunchly also has a pizza option similar to Lunchables.
Overall, Lunchly is fine. It’s not like the greatest food on earth. Personally, I wouldn’t get it again.
