On Oct. 20, the Hinsdale Central’s boys golf team won the IHSA 3A state championship. They played at the Den at Fox Creek in Bloomington, Ill..
“Winning state for the last time as a senior feels good, but I’m going to miss it,” said Dru Devata, senior on the golf team.
In the class 3A, Central finished with a top score of 588 and the best performer of the Central team was Devata with a score of 141.
“I played badly but I’m very happy that we won state,” said Kevin Wesolowski, senior on the golf team.
Some people expected this performance from the boys golf team because they win the state championship often.
“We had a lot of fun at the Den but it sucks because I can’t play with my boys again,” said Isaac Schloegel, senior on the golf team.
