The new winter Starbucks menu dropped on Jan. 6. This menu replaced the old winter menu that was released in November 2025. Some items on the menu are permanent, while others will be temporary for the winter season. The new lineup features drinks with pistachio and Dubai chocolate as well as special items following the conclusion of the holiday season.
There are also new food items at Starbucks such as the “Truffle, Mushroom and Egg Bites” and “Dubai Chocolate Bites.”
Starbucks also had a “mini-drop” for their customers on Feb. 3 in preparation for Valentine’s Day. Other food and drink items that were released include the “White Chocolate Strawberry Cream Cold Brew” and the “Strawberry Shortcake Frappuccino.”
Valentine’s Day cake pops were also readily available for customers.
Student regulars at Starbucks are excited about the new menu.
“I decided to try a new refresher from Starbucks because I am addicted to their “Strawberry Acai” refreshers,” said Gabriella De Vita, senior. “It is called a cannonball refresher and includes both strawberries and dragonfruit in it. I really enjoyed it.”
Students were eager to try the new products with dubai chocolate in them because of its prevalence on social media.
“I have an obsession with dubai chocolate so I was so happy to hear that it was included on Starbucks’ menu. I tried the “Dubai Chocolate Bites” and loved them,” said Josie Braden, sophomore. “They are a chocolate shortbread with pistachio filling in the inside and topped with chocolate drizzle and pistachio bits.”
In February, Starbucks also released a permanent menu of matcha drinks, and shifted to using an unsweetened matcha powder. This is a part of their new collection called the “Matcha Edit” featuring new drinks and bakery items.
“I decided to try matcha for the first time because it is trending on TikTok. I didn’t know how I would like it because some people told me it tastes like grass. However, I tried the “Iced Double Berry Matcha.” It had strawberry puree, matcha, and a raspberry cream cold foam in it,” said Ryan Baltazar, senior. “I really liked it and will definitely be getting it again.”
Starbucks recently also released protein drinks. There are multiple types of drinks including protein on the new menu, including protein lattes and drinks topped with protein cold foam. These drinks can have up to 36 grams of protein in a grande size.
Some students are skeptical about the drop of protein drinks.
“I think it is interesting that everyone is obsessed with protein now. I see protein being advertised in everything at the grocery store. I don’t think I will try Starbuck’s protein drinks,” Braden said.To learn more about the Starbucks menu, visit this link https://www.starbucks.com/
