Aminah Ahmed, a junior is a young dynamic activist and public speaker. She is the host of the talk show NextGen on Apple TV, Roku TV, and Amazon Fire TV. Aminah is the co-founder of the “Art as Resistance: In Honor of Shaheen Bagh” campaign. She’s the Youth Leader of the nonprofit organization, Indian American Muslim Council, the largest Indian diaspora nonprofit, and the representative of the Hindus for Human Rights for the Chicago Anti-CAA resolution. Aminah speaks at press conferences on topics regarding social justice and solidarity and has coordinated and facilitated town halls on the conversations of identity, race, and diversity. She is one of the presidents of the club, Students Organized for Anti-Racism. Aminah enjoys reading, writing, and traveling and aspires to become a criminal defense attorney.
