Michaela Malec is a senior who can be found watching Hallmark movies or binging almost every show on Netflix. If Michaela is not on her couch watching sappy romance movies, you can catch her covered in dirt out on the softball field or scheming up ways to get nibbled on by a shark. Every Friday, Michaela can be seen wearing fun socks with animals, plants, or other weird things on them. The staff faced the Hinsdale South team before the Boy's Varsity game. The Red Devils' unfortunately lost to the Hornets.

The Girls Basketball team was the first game of the night, they played OPRF.

At the Dec. 10 D86 meeting, the board had many decisions regarding budget cuts following the failure of the Nov. 6 referendum.

Through Monday Dec. 3rd to Friday Dec. 7th Puzzle hosted the first game week. Students have been able to participate in many activities such as riddles, bingo, and Kahoot throughout the week.

On Saturday, Oct. 13 Key club hosted the all school day of service. Many different clubs and teams participated in the event. Groups were sent to a number of different places around the area like forest preserves to clean up trash, group homes to make halloween decorations, and grocery stores to take donations. Along with helping out around the community, some groups worked on donation projects at the school like carving pumpkins, making dog and cat toys, and making blankets.

The homecoming pep rally took place on Friday, Sept. 21 in the main gym. The assembly consisted of activities run by student council, performances from cheerleading, pommers, and color guard, and homecoming court skits.
