Mikayla Mahler, senior, is thrilled to be writing for Devils’ Advocate this year. Her favorite subjects in school are English and History. Apart from that, she also participates in Track and a variety of clubs, such as Crew Link, Poetry and Radio. She enjoys journalism because it creates an opportunity to express and report local or national news. It is not only a key aspect of society as it gives responsibility and recognition to those who don’t have the platform capable, but it also allows her to express her true self through the act of reporting.
