Mackenzie Murtaugh
When she's not working at the movie theatre or forcing her dogs to cuddle with her, Mackenzie Murtaugh is consistently reading at least 6 books at a time (a dubious lie), or she is watching 10 movies a day (a definite lie). At Hinsdale Central, she is a staff editor in the school's literary & art magazine Solstice and an active participant in Film Club. If you're looking for Mackenzie, you can find her at school by 6 am finishing her homework from the night before or after school for a date with Jimmy John's. She has an inclination for writing and aspires to be a journalist, more specifically a film critic, later in life.
