Natalia Berti is a senior who, when not chilling at a picturesque coffee shop or practicing her badminton footwork, enjoys re-watching the Avengers movies in her basement while eating chips and guacamole. On a nice day, her friends will usually find her biking through Graue Mill forest, stopping occasionally to enjoy the moment and take scenic pictures.  Although she may have a million tabs open on her chromebook, she thinks of herself as a great multitasker that enjoys trying new things and loves getting involved in her community. If she’s not in the middle of ordering her favorite Chipotle chicken bowl, you can reach her at 821206@hinsdale86.org.

Two weeks ago, a player on Lyon Township High School’s water polo team contracted Covid-19, so the entire varsity team took necessary precautions and quarantined for two weeks, which meant no conditioning or practices. Their game against OPRF on April 20 was the same day they were safe to resume the season.

“All we can try to do for the rest of the season is that they try to have the best attitudes with the last four weeks of the season because it’s been an interesting year, a difficult year, but I know they wouldn’t want to do it with anyone else and that’s all that we can ask for,” said Ms. Christina Brodell, water polo coach and spanish teacher.

“Although we had a rough start in the first quarter, we started to get into the groove of things in the second quarter and carried on for the rest of the game,” said senior and goalie Ethan Austermann.
